1 – Type of data collected
For making reservations
To make reservations or orders on our site, you must provide us with your payment information (credit card number) and your first name, last name, country, telephone number and email address.
To contact the Reservations department (reception)
When you contact our customer service to make a reservation, we may collect:
- your e-mail address if you send us an e-mail and/or your name, first name, address and potentially telephone number if you send us a form;
- the content of the messages you send to us, by e-mail, by form or via our customer support chat (We may also collect technical data about your internet connection, browser and devices).

The data that we collect is accessible to our service providers, acting as subcontractors , who contribute administratively and technically to the achievement of the purposes referred to above (accommodation provider, payment provider, advertising technology, etc.)
In this context, the data we collect may be transferred outside the European Union. In this case, we ensure that this transfer is carried out in compliance with the legislation regarding the transfer of personal data and in particular, that a sufficient level of protection of your personal data is guaranteed.

4 – Data controller
Hôtel le Gardon is exclusively responsible for the processing of the personal data of its users.
The Hôtel le Gardon and its operating company SAS CAP SUD, registered with the RCS of Nîmes under the number SIREN 803 963 388, having its head office at 9, rue de Camchesteve 30210 COLLIAS , represented by Mr. Ludovic ANSELME, in his as President, is responsible for processing the data it collects.
Hôtel le Gardon processes your data for the purposes of ensuring the execution of the above-mentioned Services, managing the relationship and invoicing with its customers. It also processes this data as part of its legitimate interest in soliciting you again for commercial offers, and to pursue statistical purposes and to improve its user experience.
5 – Shelf life
The retention period of your personal data varies depending on the purpose of their collection:
- Customer data as part of reservation management is kept for three years from the end of the commercial relationship.
- Customer data as part of the management of the loyalty program is kept for the entire duration of membership in the loyalty program.
- Data relating to the management of partners and corporate accounts are kept for a period of five years from its deletion, exclusively for evidentiary purposes.
- Data relating to your use of the service is retained for twelve months from the activity which generated its collection.
- Documents and accounting records are kept for ten years, as accounting proof.
- The data relating to your bank card is kept by our service provider thirty days after the check-out . The cryptogram of your bank card is not stored by our services.
- Data likely to be subject to legal requisition (connection data, identity, contact details, data relating to transactions) are kept for twelve months from their collection.
- The data of member hotels is kept for the entire duration of the membership. This data is kept ten years after the withdrawal of the association.
6 – Your rights
In accordance with the regulations on personal data, and in particular Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, amended by Law No. 2002-801 of August 6, 2004 known as the “Informatique et Libertés” law and the European Regulation on Data Protection No. 2016/670, known as “GDPR”, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

8 – Security of your data

When you provide your credit card information during your reservation, SSL ( Secure Socket Layer ) encryption technology helps secure your transactions. Our partner in charge of reservation management is PCI DSS ( Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) , data security standards applicable to the payment card industry. This PCI DSS standard aims to reduce online fraud.
